Annual Ultimate Fishing Show-Detroit to drop anchor in Novi
It’s a fishing enthusiast’s dream— other than the one that got away— an expo with everything you need to catch fish. The annual Ultimate Fishing Show-Detroit is set to open Jan. 12-15 in Novi, featuring an ice fishing extravaganza, shanty truckload sale, step-up mini clinics, bass, walleye and salmon clinics, fish cleaning demonstrations, a virtual fishing simulator, fly casting and tying lessons and trout pond. National bass fishing personalities Kevin VanDam will appear on Sunday and Mark Zona will appear on Thursday.
“This is Michigan’s largest pure fishing show and it offers something for everyone from experienced veterans to beginner anglers,” says Show Manager Ben Nielsen. “We’ve booked hundreds of exhibitors and they’re bringing the latest in tackle, gear, fishing boats and accessories to town.
